OUR LOCAL FAMILY
We are not merely a group of people gathering on Sunday mornings. We are a family who takes Jesus at his word—hearing, believing, and doing all that he says in simple obedience because we love Him—desiring for our community to feel cared for, loved, and welcomed in.
You can find us bringing food to new neighbors, praying with the sick, shoveling snow for others in the winter, having impromptu dinners and game nights, using our skills to bless others, and, of course, watching the Steelers play.
As we “rejoice with those who rejoice” and “weep with those who weep” (Romans 12:15), we begin to know and experience God more intimately through His spirit of joy and his spirit of compassion and comfort. We find that God enlarges our hearts to love and trust Him more deeply, and so we are compelled to lovingly serve others—especially our enemies—and are invited to join with God in His ministry of reconciliation.
OUR WORLDWIDE FAMILY
We are part of a larger, worldwide family of believers of over 6 million people known as the Christian and Missionary Alliance (C&MA).
In The Alliance, we believe that our mission blends both the concept of being and doing. In being with Jesus and sitting at His feet, our lives are transformed. As we grow in relationship with Him, we desire to know Him more deeply as Savior, Sanctifier, Healer, and Coming King. We are ordinary people from all walks of life and ethnic backgrounds, obeying Jesus’ command to complete His Great Commission. Empowered by our extraordinary God, we are doing our part to go and make disciples of all nations. Whether at home or overseas, The Alliance is taking faith-filled risks to see Christ’s Kingdom multiplied throughout the world. (“Our Core Values”)
