Martindale Alliance Church

If you’re visiting our website for the first time, welcome! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

If you’re planning a visit or wanting to drop by, we know that can sometimes be intimidating. Read the information below to get a feel for what to expect.

When and where are the services?

We have Sunday school for the adults and children separately, both at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Our main worship service is at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings, during which we have nursery care. Click the button below for directions.

When you walk in, to your left and down the stairs are restrooms, kids Sunday school rooms, and the fellowship hall. If you have kids, after dropping them off, you can walk back up to the main sanctuary for the adult Sunday school class. There you will be greeted by our wonderful members!

Sunday school lasts about an hour, so there will be a little time before the main worship service starts at 10:30 a.m. Feel free to use the restrooms on the main level, hang out in the foyer around the coffee and tea bar, meet the pastor and his wife, or head into the sanctuary.

When you walk in, the foyer will be straight ahead up a couple of steps, with the sanctuary on the right. You will be greeted by our greeting team, as well as other church members. They would love to talk with you, get to know you, and answer any questions you have! The pastor and his wife would also love to meet you.

You will hear the welcome and announcements, which will lead into a mix of hymns and contemporary songs. After the offering is taken up, Pastor Ryan will preach and give a benediction. He and his wife will greet everyone as they leave. Many people stay and talk for a while around the coffee and tea bar, so don’t feel like you need to rush to leave!

If you are planning a visit, make sure you click the button below to let us know! We’d love to show you around, let you know about our different events during the week, talk with you about what the Lord is doing here, and offer you lunch with the pastor and his wife. We’d be honored to host you!

Ryan and Hunter Legg

Ryan and his wife, Hunter, have been married for two and a half years. They grew up on opposite coasts—Ryan in Washington state and Hunter in New York. They met in Kentucky during Hunter’s last semester at Asbury University and Ryan’s first semester at Asbury Theological Seminary.

They moved to Martindale at the end of September 2018 when they felt the Lord’s call and blessing to serve the community in the Western PA district of the C&MA. Ryan is the solo pastor, and Hunter serves alongside him and also owns and manages Final Review Proofreading. They are ALME candidates, meaning they are serving in the States with the intent to be missionaries overseas with the C&MA.

They are thrilled to serve and live with the people of Martindale—a truly loving and hospitable family—and are invested in their time there. They would love to meet you! If you are up for coffee, skiing, dessert, or just hanging out, they would be honored to get to know you!
